Attempting to stay relevant during the boom years of the Kodak Instamatic, the owners of the Argus trademark brought out a large number of cameras for easy-loading 126 film cartridges. In both name and design, the Argus 126 is likely the most minimalist. There is at least one other differently-styled variation also bearing the "Argus 126" name, but both have a top slot to accept a flip flash.
