This article is a stub. You can help Camera-wiki.org by expanding it.

This is a simple scale focus camera from the era when Argus had merged with Mansfield Industries. It was concurrent with the Argus Automatic 35 which it somewhat resembles. The A-5 has a slower f/3.5 lens and programmed autoexposure, where the ring around the lens inputs the film speed (ASA 10–200) via code numbers 2–6. There is no other manual exposure control.

There are some visual similarities to the late Mansfield Skylark derived from the Yamato Palmat Automatic.
