This Fujica 35mm autoexposure compact offers an early example of a date-imprinting function, circa 1975. The 38mm f/2.8 uses scale focusing with both pictograms or distance measurements shown on the focus ring. The camera body extends beyond the film take-up compartment to provide for an integrated electronic flash.

This model was followed by the Fujica Flash AF (Date), which added autofocus.
