The Optio W60 is a rugged digital compact camera from Japanese manufacturer Pentax released in 2008. It was replaced with the Optio W80 a year later.
It is designed as a dustproof, waterproof up to 3 meters, and cold resistant down to -10°C. It is available in blue and silver colors.
It uses a 10 megapixel 1/2.5" CCD imaging sensor. This produces a max resolution of 3648 x 2736. It uses a 5-25mm; 35mm equivalent 28-140mm 5x zoom lens with a aperture of f/3.5 to f/5.5. The camera preview back uses a 230,000 dot 2.5 inch LCD screen. HD video can be captured in 720p but only at a 15fps output. External storage is with a SD / SDHC card.
