The Micro 35 EF is a very small 35 mm camera made by Chinon. In Great Britain, it was also sold under the Carena name as the Carena Micro 35 EF. Like the Minox 35, the lens is protected by a folding door, but on the Chinon, the lens has to be pulled out by hand after opening the door.

The camera is a simple construction, working on a single shutter speed. Setting the film speed on the lens simply changes the square aperture, thereby making exposure anything but exact.

One stand-out "feature" is that the built-in flash is situated right below the shutter release, so that it may be easily obscured when taking flash photos.
