In late 2022 the American chain of discount stores "Five Below" released an unnamed 35mm toy camera at a $5.25 price. The camera is produced in China by UP-TECH/MWA[1].

The camera is available in four colours: blush, plaid, teal and blue.

Together with the camera they also released an 10 exposures 400 ISO black & white unbranded Fomapan[2] 35mm film roll (plastic canister) at a $5.25 or $5.99 price.

Specifications

  • Lens: 28mm F/8.
  • Film format: 35mm film.
  • Frame counter.
  • Dimensions: 9.4x2.9x5.9cm.
  • Material: plastic.

Trivia

  • The camera is simply referred as "retro reusable camera" on the official e-shop.[3]
  • Both on the camera and on the film packages the film is nonsensical described as being "F/8 28mm". Also, on the camera package the film format is wrongly described as "5mm FILM" instead of 35mm.
  • The roll has a fake 24 exposures 400 ISO DX code on it.
