Welcome to Camera-Wiki.org!

Thanks for creating an account here on Camera-Wiki.org! We appreciate your willingness to help us create the most comprehensive camera and photography encyclopedia on the web. Camera-Wiki.org is a big website, so we'd like to offer a few quick pointers to help get you started.

You also have a profile page that you can edit to tell us more about yourself if you'd like. It's purely optional but it's always nice to get to know another camera lover.

This website uses software called Mediawiki that's also used by WikiPedia. If you already know how to use and edit WikiPedia, you'll feel right at home here. If not, we have special page where you can learn to edit, called the Sandbox. It's a place where you try things out and experiment with no worries of breaking anything.

Baby Leotax photos

Hi Lincoln, there are some photos of yours being used on the Baby Leotax page that we need permission to use. You have marked them as "all rights reserved" on your flickr page, which means you aren't granting anyone else permission to use or display them. There are two ways you can grant us the right to legally use them: 1) you can change the rights on each image to use a creative commons licenses that allows others to use your images or, even easier 2) you can add the photos to the camerawiki flickr group, which includes an explicit grant of permission for photos in the group to be used on the camera-wiki.org website. ..but more generally, welcome back! It looks like you've revived an earlier user name, so you probably know what you're doing in a wiki. Nevertheless, here's the standard 'welcome' text, with links to some helpful pages. Cheers! --Dustin McAmera (talk) 03:20, 18 July 2012 (PDT)
K, all uploaded to the Camerawiki Flickr as well as a Miniature Spy Camera from the 1950's
I'm still seeing those photos as marked "all rights reserved" and not added to the flickr camerawiki group. I've invited them, so all you need to do is click the "accept" button under each photo. It looks like you've joined the camerawiki group, so you're halfway there, you just need to add the photos now. If you can see the invitation under the photos, then you can add them by clicking the "actions" menu above the photos and selecting "add to a group". Then select the camerawiki group.
