Wirgin camera

I am pretty sure the camera you mentioned on the Wirgin page is the Edinex: does it look like this? The first versions did not have a name on it, and had no top plate, just a viewfinder. Regards --Rebollo fr 08:12, 21 January 2006 (EST)

No, it looks like this:[1] The round thing in middle is to mount a flash, I think. I found others like it on the net but don't remember where. Michael :-)

Yes, it is an Edinex too, it is the prewar version. Not sure about the round pole, might be for an external rangefinder, I am not convinced that the shutter was synchronized on such early models. --Rebollo fr 11:15, 23 January 2006 (EST)

you're correct, no sync on the camera so it must be the rangefinder mount. I'd like to see that rangefinder.--
